Quick and Healthy Recipes For Your Picky Kids

(Use Organic When Available)


1. Famous "Chocolate" Sandwich

2 slices of Organic Whole Grain Bread
Cocoa Haze! Spread (available at Whole Foods)
1 Tsp of "Crunchy Stuff Mixture"

Make the sandwich by spreading "Cocoa Haze! on both slices of bread and adding the "Crunchy Stuff Mixture" in the middle so it sticks to the bread



"Crunchy Stuff Mixture"
(Equal Parts of the Following Mixed in Advance and Stored in a Jar)
1. Organic Wheat Germ
2. Organic Flaxseed Meal
3. Kidz Super Food (Amazing Grass) - available at Whole Foods






2. Noodles! Noodles!

Whole Wheat spaghetti (cooked according to the box instructions)
1 tsp of Organic Flaxseed oil
1 tsp Organic Sunflower oil
Parmesan cheese (as desired)

Mix spaghetti, oils, Parmesan cheese and Voila!




3. Mac & Cheese:


Organic Mac & Cheese
A jar of Organic sweet potatoes or Organic carrots (baby food purees)
½ tps Flaxseed oil
½ tps Sunflower oil

Cook noodles, add the cheese package, add sweet potatoes instead of the milk and mix well. When the cheese sauce is all combined, add the oils. The trick is to match the “colors” so that the kids do not notice we added veggies in their Mac & Cheese.


4. Scrambled Eggs


Organic, Free Range Eggs
¼ tps Organic Flaxseed oil
¼ tps Organic Sunflower oil

Use Organic Sunflower oil instead of butter to cook the eggs. Place Sunflower oil in pan, cook eggs and then add the Flaxseed oil at the end. Mix well.




5. Avocado “Dip-Dip” with chips
Organic corn tortilla chips
1 organic avocado
1 tps of sour cream
Juice of ½ an organic lemon

Mash avocado, add sour cream and lemon juice. Mix until desired consistency. Enjoy!




6. Veggies/Carrots:
Fresh Organic Carrots (one bag)
½ tps Flaxseed oil
½ tps Sunflower oil

Dice carrots in little cubes then steam or boil them. Add oils. Salt and Pepper to taste.


7. Peanut Butter Sandwich with “Crunchy Stuff Mixture”

2 slices of Organic Whole Grain bread
Organic peanut butter (made with only peanuts, no sugar, no salt, no oils…)
½ tsp “Crunchy Stuff Mixture” “Crunchy Stuff Mixture”
( equal parts of the following 3 ingredients mixed together in a jar. )

1- Organic Wheat Germ
2- Organic Flaxseed Meal
3- Kidz Super Food (Amazing Grass) (can buy @ Whole Foods)

Make the sandwich by spreading the peanut butter on both slices of breads and adding the mixture in the middle so it sticks to the spread.
